Sportsfield Specialties in Mocksville, NC is seeking a Material Handler to help manage the distribution of inventory to the departments within the production facility.

Responsibilities/Duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintain a clean work environment and prioritize safety in all tasks.
• Return materials from the production floor to proper storage areas.
• Label and identify materials as needed.
• Assist with inventory counts as needed.
• Supply departments with the correct materials for their jobs and replenish stock.
• Operate forklift or hand truck to move materials on the floor.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

Required Qualifications

Experience/Education:

• 3+ years of material handling experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Forklift experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to get in and out of a forklift regularly.
• Prolonged standing.
• Lift, push/pull, and carry up to 50 lbs. periodically.

Starting pay: $18/hour. This is the minimum pay; actual pay may vary based on experience, knowledge, skills, education, and internal equity.
