Job description

Job Duties

Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages, documents, heavyweight freight, dangerous goods, and ULDs. Assists in the buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight. Acts as a liaison between the company and ULD repair vendors, as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. from ground to chest level without assistance and maneuver packages over 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, and squat for designated work hours.
• Ability to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces, including stacking packages above head if required.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions and climb stairs and ladders as needed.
• Successful completion of all basic and recurrent training.
• Effective communication skills in noisy environments.

Job Conditions

Non-safety sensitive position. Medical exam required. Must possess a valid driver’s license to operate motorized conveyances. Ability to work alertly and safely at all times.

This range provides an estimate of the current starting salary across all locations. Actual pay depends on experience, location, and other factors. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Additional Posting Information

This position is for the GSOH Overnight Shift: Monday-Friday 11:45-05:00. Fridays may be required during peak times or as needed.
