A leading company in the military vehicles industry is seeking a Material Handler in Minneapolis. The role involves managing inventory, preparing shipments, and ensuring equipment maintenance. Ideal candidates will have experience in warehouse environments and strong communication skills.
Title: Material Handler
Location: Minneapolis, MN
Duration/Pay: 25.60 per hour 6 months contract to hire

Key Skills: Shipping / Receiving / Inventory /
Maintaining and keeping inventory by identifying, labeling, and stocking materials
Periodically checking the inventory to ensure that all materials and supplies in stock are and correct
Keeping a full database of the locations of all items
Prepared shipment by pulling, crating, packaging, loading and securing the product/shipment
Keep accurate records and documentation of everything that is shipped
Ensuring the inspections and maintenance of the equipment used every day.
Be prepared to load and unload various materials from trucks using the required equipment
Be able to use common tools such as manuals jacks, clamp trunk, dollies, and lift trucks
Know how to operate overhead doors, trailer restraints, dock plates, banding, and wrapping equipment
Know how to properly use computerized scales for counting and weighing goods
A successful candidate:
Has worked in a warehouse environment
Has valid driver's license
Can lift 40lbs repeatedly
Has Some flexibility in schedule to work on weekends, holidays, early mornings, or evenings
A minimum of three years of experience in inventory management
Strong English oral and written communication skills
