Job description

Job Duties

Provides safe and efficient operation of equipment used for the movement of packages, documents, heavyweight, dangerous goods, and ULDs. Assists in the buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight. Acts as a liaison between the company and ULD repair vendors, as required. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to lift 50 lbs. from ground to chest level without assistance and maneuver packages over 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment or assistance. Capable of walking, standing, bending, and squatting during designated work hours. Able to maneuver packages above shoulder level and in enclosed spaces, stacking packages overhead if needed. Able to work in all weather conditions and climb stairs or ladders as required. Must complete all basic and re-currency training successfully. Effective communication in noisy environments is essential.

Job Conditions

This is a non-safety sensitive position. A medical exam is required. Must work alertly and safely at all times. Valid driver’s license required for operating motorized conveyances.

Pay Transparency

This range is an estimate of the current starting salary across potential locations. Actual pay depends on experience, location, and other factors. Employees may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonuses. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay Range: $18.79 - $25.97
