Job summary

Ameri-Force, Inc. is seeking a Material Handler to ensure smooth flow of materials within the Milwaukee facility. You will safely move, store, and deliver materials to production areas, while maintaining accurate records and following safety guidelines.

Must be able to operate forklifts and pallet jacks and lift up to 50 lbs. This role emphasizes reliability, organization, and clear communication with team members to coordinate material movements and inspections as part of daily production

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in material handling or a related role in an industrial setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
  • Excellent organizational skills to maintain orderly storage areas and accurate inventory records.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and relay information regarding material movements.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

As a Material Handler, you will be a vital part of operations, ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies within our facility. Your role will involve safe handling, storage, and distribution of materials, contributing to the efficiency and success of our production processes.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

Safety & Environmental Factors

All employees are expected to adhere to the company’s safety policies to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. This role involves working under extreme hot or cold conditions and requires the physical ability to stand for the entire shift, use hands for various tasks, ascend stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear. Team members must occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close, distant, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
