Job summary

Kelly Services is hiring a Material Handler in Mentor, OH to join a premier distribution center. This full-time role offers a steady 7am–4pm schedule with potential Saturday OT and a pay rate of $21 per hour.

You will operate forklifts and other handling equipment, load and unload materials, and ensure accurate order fulfillment while maintaining a safe workspace. Overtime possible based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Physically capable of lifting up to 75 lbs and moving loads.
• Able to read labels, tickets, and product documentation.
• Able to work full-time, 40 hours per week.
• Forklift certification is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $21 per hour

Shift: Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm, potential for Saturday OT 7am-11am

What’s a typical day as Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Working independently to load, unload, and move materials within or near the work site
• Filling orders and issuing materials and supplies as requested
• Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, cherry pickers, walking riders, reach trucks, EZGo carts, and hand trucks
• Packing and shipping customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have a desire to work in a fast-paced, positive warehouse environment
• Can comprehend oral and written communication to read labels, tickets, and product documentation
• Are able to frequently lift, push, carry, and slide packages weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Can stand and move throughout the warehouse in various temperatures
• Possess basic math skills and attention to detail
• Have forklift certification (Reach Truck/Order picker experience is helpful but not required)
• Are able to work full-time, 40 hours per week
• Can wear required PPE, including steel toe boots
