Job summary

Staffmark Group in Melrose Park, IL is hiring a Material Handler. Pay rate is $18.50 per hour with shift options 8:00-4:30, 9:00-5:30, and 10:00-6:30. Must be available to work 12-hour shifts during the first 3 weeks.

Responsibilities include building boxes, packing orders, pulling/skidding with a pallet jack, loading/unloading trailers, and supporting shipping and receiving. Education: high school diploma or GED preferred; experience helpful but not required.

• Perform housekeeping and warehouse maintenance.
• Sort, stage, replenish, and prepare products for shipment.
• Support loading/unloading of trailers and general warehouse operations.

Physical Capabilities

• Lift 50-75 lbs. occasionally
• Stand, bend, kneel, and climb ladders throughout the shift
• Work in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy warehouse environments
• Comfortable working around forklifts, trucks, and other warehouse equipment
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks and remain active throughout the workday
