Job summary

AGI - Ag Growth International in Marshall, IL is seeking a Material Handler to support shipping operations. You will pull orders from inventory, stage materials for production, prepare crates and pallets, and document shipments with photos.

You will operate forklifts, including telehandler and overhead cranes, perform pre-use inspections, and follow all safety protocols while working in varied weather conditions. High school diploma and forklift experience required.

Qualifications

  • Six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Forklift experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials into crates; recording location of inventory in Lots, and insuring safe, quality storage, packaging and shipment of equipment and materials.
  • Locate materials and components by pulling and verifying materials and listed on production orders.
  • Pull inventory from work centers and stage by shipment in Lot.
  • Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
  • Documents product shipment by recording units shipped, taking clean, clear pictures of all shipments.
  • Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections; making operator repairs.
  • Ability to certify on large equipment operation; Telehandler and other forklifts.
  • Safely moves extremely large pieces of equipment using overhead cranes, forklifts and Tellahandler.
  • Responsible for taking pictures and logging completed equipment.
  • Endure Extreme weather conditions, Very Hot Summer to Very Cold Winter days
  • Build Crates and Pallets
  • Following all Safety protocols
