Job summary

StonCor/Stonhard is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Associate to manage the raw material storage area and prepare materials for batching in a manufacturing setting.

You will enter lot numbers into the BaaN system, perform cycle counts and physical inventories, adjust locations, and maintain an orderly inventory environment. A forklift license and at least one year in industrial manufacturing are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of one year directly related experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Forklift operations experience.

  • Change inventory bin locations and/or minimum and maximum quantities as directed by the Purchasing Department.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Functions
  • Assume control of "QC Approved" materials from Receiving Department, storing them in the appropriate bin location.
  • Accumulate material as needed to make a specific batch of Work in Process.
  • Enter the lot numbers for each accumulated raw material into the BaaN System under the appropriate batch number.
  • Maintain inventory control area in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Perform cycle counts as directed by the Purchasing and/or Production Departments. Adjust system inventory at the direction of the above departments.
  • Perform physical inventory as required by StonCor/Stonhard management.
  • Change inventory bin locations and/or minimum and maximum quantities as directed by the Purchasing Department.
Minimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED in lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education may be considered.
  • Minimum of one year directly related experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Forklift operations experience
Preferred Requirements
  • Leadership experience in the warehouse setting.
  • Hazmat Materials Training
Physical Requirements
  • Must be capable of lifting between 25-70 lbs.
  • Must be capable of wearing company standard respirators as qualified by a fit test performed by an authorized agency.
  • Stooping, bending, squatting up to 50% of the time.
  • Standing and walking up to 90% of the time.
  • Must be capable of wearing Company standard respirators as qualified by a fit test performed by an authorized agency if required.
  • This position requires consistent wearing of safety glasses, gloves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes; with additional specific PPE depending on the chemicals or materials handled, which could include respirators, hearing protection, or specialized gloves for hazardous substances.
Benefits and Compensation

The pay range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $21.00/hour and $24.00/hour. The range is an estimate based on potential employee qualification operations, needs, and other considerations permitted by law.
