Staffmark Group is hiring a Material Handler in Manor, TX. The role offers 1st and 2nd shifts (6:00 AM–2:30 PM, 2:30 PM–10:30 PM) with weekend shifts available.

Training occurs on day 1 (7:30 AM–4:00 PM) and following days 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with safety and efficiency emphasized throughout. Responsibilities include labeling, packaging gas lines, leak testing, inventory checks, data entry, and supporting weld shop and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Basic computer proficiency (Excel/Word).
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
• Able to work in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Experience not required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Clean, label, and package gas lines according to quality specifications.

• Restock VMI materials to maintain production readiness.
• Enter and update production, inventory, and quality data in company systems.

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule

• 1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
• 2nd Shift | 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
• Weekend Shifts Available Wednesday - Sunday

Training will take place (1st Day | 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM) and 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM the remainder of the week.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
• Capable of occasionally lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds.
• Able to work safely around manufacturing equipment and moderate noise levels.
• Strong visual attention to detail for inspections, labeling, and quality checks.

Job Duties

• Clean, label, and package gas lines according to quality and customer specifications.
• Perform leak testing and quality verification of weldments and manufactured components.
• Conduct inventory counts, audits, and part tracking activities.
• Complete Type 1 Chemical Cleaning (alkaline wash) processes as required.
• Restock Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) materials to maintain production readiness.
• Print, organize, file, and maintain manufacturing records and production documentation.
• Accurately enter and update production, inventory, and quality data in company systems.
• Support weld shop operations and continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, efficiency, safety, and on-time delivery.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures, quality standards, and operational guidelines.
