A leading company in Lincoln, NE, is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse operations. The role involves safe operation of material handling equipment, managing inventory accurately, and adhering to EHS and quality compliance standards. Candidates should hold a high school diploma and have at least two years of related experience, including forklift operation.

Shift - 1st
A. Job Purpose
• The Material Handler performs a wide variety of tasks focused on receiving, warehousing, delivering, shipping, and maintaining accurate inventories as required to support the Lincoln plant.
B. Key Responsibilities (No More Than 10)
• Operates material handling equipment including standup forklifts, pallet jacks, powered pallet jacks, vacuhoist, carton clamp, and slip-sheet attachment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensures material receipt, warehousing, and delivery to point of use in order to meet internal/external customer expectations including shipments of finished goods to the off-site Distribution Center.
• Load and unload trailers that are going between our off-site Distribution Center and main site.
• Check/verify, sign for inbound freight from suppliers, complete cleaning & labeling of materials. Assist in completion of receipts and shipments as needed.
• Deliver all materials and product to work centers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintains material inventory quantity accuracy via physical counts & inventory management system transactions to maintain accurate inventory.
• Maintains material location accuracy via RF scanner.
• Check out, operate, troubleshoot, clean, and report issues pertaining to material handling equipment.
• Maintain training on SOPs, Policies, GMPs, OSHA guidelines, and Safety Security & Environment guidelines.
• Maintain a high level of safety awareness. This includes participating in the ZAP program. Our behavior-based safety program to help identify potential risks in the workplace.
EHS Responsibilities – All Associates
• Know, understand, and comply with all Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) guidelines.
• Report unsafe conditions.
• Report all injuries, illnesses, and hazardous materials releases.
• Wear personal protective equipment.
• Attend EHS training programs.
• Follow all safe work procedures.
Quality Responsibilities – All Associates
• Adhere to all Quality Compliance standards (Data Integrity, QA, and QC, etc.)
• Adhere to QMS policy and regulatory requirements.
C. Knowledge/Education/Experience Required
• Minimum Education Level
• High school diploma or equivalent.
Job-Related Experiences
• Describe what minimum experience this position will require the job holder to have obtained in past roles that would be beneficial to company.
• 2 years of forklift experience. Stand up forklift experience preferred for loading/unloading trailers as well as storage in racking and bulk areas
Other Job-Related Skills/Background
• List any licenses, certificates, registrations, or any relevant job skills or abilities (not covered in educational background or job-related experiences sections above) that are required for the job.
• Experience in M-ERP or SAP inventory management systems preferred.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industry preferred.
