Job summary

Mitchell Associates, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to support operators with on-time delivery of WIP and materials across work cells. The role includes monitoring scrap, moving finished goods, and performing forklift maintenance to ensure safe operation.

You will follow plant procedures, maintain container organization, and adhere to all company policies under the Weld Assembly Supervisor. The position requires attention to detail, ability to read safety rules, and willingness to perform

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail for scanning and locating containers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-time delivery of WIP, containers, and materials to work cells.
  • Monitor scrap dumpsters and ensure proper disposal into designated hoppers.
  • Transport finished goods containers to storage areas and scan accordingly.
  • Perform maintenance and safety checks on forklifts and material handling equipment.
  • Move WIP containers to designated locations and scan for correct placement.
  • Follow plant requirements for transport and stacking of containers.
  • Move damaged containers to repair area and maintain container organization.
  • Adhere to company policies including Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems.
  • Weld Assembly Supervisor may assign additional duties.

  • Provides support to operators through efficient, on-time delivery of WIP, containers, and other materials to the work cells

  • Monitor scrap dumpsters and dump scrap in designated hoppers

  • Remove finished goods containers and transport to correct storage area, and scan accordingly

  • Perform maintenance and safety checks on forklifts and other material handling equipment for which the associate is responsible

  • Remove WIP containers and move to correct designated location and scan accordingly

  • Follow all plant requirements for transport and stacking of containers

  • Monitor condition of containers and move damaged containers to container repair area

  • Maintain storage container organization in accordance with the plant layout

  • Any other duties or responsibilities assigned by the Weld Assembly Supervisor

  • Abide by all Company polices including, but not limited to the following: Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, Human Resources policies, and the Martinrea Employee Handbook

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before customers or employees of the organization.


Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent, and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


Salary: $22.81 per hour
