Job summary

Altium Packaging in Janesville, WI is seeking a Material Handler to receive, store and distribute raw materials and supplies to designated staging areas. The role operates a forklift and requires adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will help keep the ramp, dock and production areas clean, report discrepancies, and transport materials to grinding and grinding area. Overtime may be required based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Physical ability to perform tasks as described, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Location Address:2929 Venture Dr., Janesville, Wisconsin 53546Work Shift:8hr-2nd Shift (United States of America)The Material Handler receives, stores and distributes raw materials and supplies to designated staging areas.JOB SUMMARY:The Material Handler receives, stores and distributes raw materials and supplies to designated staging areas.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES:Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.Operate forklift to unload inbound and outbound shipments.Visually inspect materials and report discrepancies in quality.Prepare materials for grinding process.Transport and store materials, finished products and supplies to appropriate staging area. Report locations for proper labeling.Transport scrapped materials from production line to the grinder area.Maintain cleanliness of ramp, dock and compactor area.Other duties as assigned by managementKeep assigned work area clean and orderly and dispose of scrap material properly.Perform all work in order to ensure the safety of yourself and all other plant personnel.Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.QUALIFICATIONS:The requirements listed below are minimum requirements for the job.
