Job summary

Altium Packaging in Lenexa, KS is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate a forklift, stack and retrieve materials, and support production lines. You will load and unload pallets, monitor inventory usage, weigh materials, and document results on production schedules.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and an OSHA forklift certification. Candidates must be able to work overtime as needed in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and maintain compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current OSHA forklift driving certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials.
• Load trucks and secure product according to customer requirements.
• Load and unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Monitor material usage on the work floor and supply production lines with raw materials.
• Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules.
• Inventory product as needed and label, sort, wrap and tie product.
• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering the lifting device.
