Job summary

Allegion Indianapolis is seeking a Material Handler to receive, stage, and issue materials to support production. You will operate pallet jacks, load/unload shipments, and accurately enter inventory data in ERP/MRP systems.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift and move heavy items. Overtime and cross-training may be required to meet production needs.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stage, issue and deliver materials to support production and orders.
• Safely operate pallet jacks and other handling equipment.
• Load/unload materials from trucks and containers.
• Enter inventory transactions in ERP/MRP systems or scanners.
• Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
• Inspect incoming materials for damage and document discrepancies.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and store tools properly.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to resolve issues.
• Overtime, cross-training and adapting to new processes as needed.
