Salary Ranges:

Material Handler: $19.25 - $25.90

Located in Minonk, Illinois, SMF, an Etnyre International Company, is a full-service metal manufacturing facility specializing in heavy and light fabrication for OEMs. With a fifty-year history serving industries like construction, power generation, agriculture, and mining, 95% of our business is as a Tier One supplier to OEMs, meeting high standards from Fortune 500 clients. We are seeking experienced Material Handlers to join our team on the 3rd shift. The role involves maintaining production and distribution by pulling orders, delivering materials, staging finished products, and ensuring inventory accuracy.

Job Duties

• Deliver materials to production areas timely to maintain standards
• Maintain in-process inventory by delivering and opening materials
• Locate and verify materials and supplies according to production orders
• Load and unload products safely and efficiently
• Document materials and supplies disposition accurately
• Deliver products to correct storage bays following inventory control instructions
• Verify Bills of Lading and tags on products
• Maintain material handling equipment through inspections and repairs

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of material handling and forklift operating experience in a heavy manufacturing or machine shop setting
• Strong attention to detail and observant
• Deadline-oriented with good math, communication, and comprehension skills
• Ability to manually lift up to 50 lbs
• Forklift certification per OSHA standards
