Job summary

Quikserv, Inc. in Houston, Texas is seeking a Warehouse Stockroom Associate to support material flow on the assembly line, restock supplies, and assist with shipping, receiving, and kitting tasks.

You will back up stockroom duties, follow safety procedures, and participate in monthly safety training while maintaining productivity per company standards. Candidates should have 1–2 years of related experience, be able to lift 50 lbs, obtain forklift certification shortly after hire, and pass

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience and/or education.
• Prior Stockroom experience preferred.
• Must be able to become forklift certified within a few days of employment. Prior forklift certification is preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail and good organization skills.
• Ability and willingness to follow instructions and positive "can do" attitude.
• Must pass background check as well as pre-employment physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Re-stock assembly line materials.
• Assist Shipping Associate in loading boxes when necessary.
• Assist with the kitting parts function for the Customs Department.
• Back up Stockroom Associates
• Assist Receiving in unloading parts and materials.
• Participate in cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Maintain productivity per company standards.
• Attend monthly safety training, follow and support all company safety initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
• Frequently bend, stoop, squat, reach, push, pull, and climb.
• Regularly lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, carts, and other material-handling equipment after required certification.
• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements, including grasping, handling, and organizing small parts.
• Work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, moving equipment, and varying temperatures.
• Wear required personal protective equipment and follow all safety procedures.
• Maintain sufficient visual and auditory ability to identify materials, read labels, recognize hazards, and respond to safety signals.
