Under direction, loads, unloads, transports, and organizes materials.

Job Responsibilities

1. Loads and unloads trucks.
2. Transports materials to designated areas or locations.
3. Supplies production lines with needed materials.
4. Understands Bill of Material (BOM) and/or part requirements in preparation for changeovers.
5. Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Skills Requirements

1. Ability to operate forklift efficiently and safely.
2. Ability to operate other material handling equipment.
3. Basic computer skills.
4. Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility and/or location.

Education

General Education Degree.

Experience Requirements

1. Material handling experience preferred.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

Some physical demand; often lifts lightweight materials. Rarely lifts/moves average weight (25-50 lbs/11-27 kgs) materials.

Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling, and reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).

Ability to stand and/or walk constantly over a full work shift (8-12 hours).

Exposure to noise levels requiring hearing protection over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
