Wabash in Griffin, GA is seeking a Material Handler to identify and locate production materials and supplies. You will move materials to the production lines using forklift, carts, and manual handling, and may drive on public roads per state licensing requirements.
The role requires reading work orders, measuring with a tape, using a two-way radio, and performing basic inventory math while working independently. Training is provided; a pre-employment drug screen is required.

Experience and education are a plus; however, it’s not required. Wabash provides training for all assembler positions. Upon receiving an offer letter from us, you’ll undergo orientation and several days of training, preparing you for the production floor.

As an Material Handler, you are regularly required to stand, walk, lean, push, climb, sit, bend, kneel, stoop, handle, and operate tools or controls for the entirety of their shift. The employee needs full range of motion in arms and hands, all Material Handlers must be able to successfully communicate with fellow employees as well. Some employees also work in small spaces throughout their shift and frequently lift and/or carry objects weighting up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus, along with good hand-eye coordination.
