This is 3rd Shift role at the Greeneville Plant with work hours from 11 pm to 7 am.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Responsible for daily rack checks, inventory adjustments, and requests for validation of location counts.
• Accurately move materials throughout plant and trailer locations.
• Cross-train with plant front dock shipping procedures to backfill as needed for vacations/absences.
• Assist in loading/unloading incoming trucks, including UPS and air freight, using hand trucks or lift trucks. Must be able to drive (maneuver) lift trucks with little or no supervision.
• Load various sizes of cartons on truck(s) to secure safe stack and best yield.
• Work area must be kept in a clean and orderly condition and report any unusual conditions to supervision. Perform 6S duties in assigned area(s).
• Perform other job-related duties as required or specified by leadership.
  
  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be proficient in the use of computers.
• Punctual daily attendance is a key requirement for success in this position.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time while also being able to manually lift and move items weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Must be able to climb, stand, walk during the course of a shift.
• Candidates must be able to perform a combination of both sedentary tasks and physical activities.
• Must be able to read and write legibly; basic mathematical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  
  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current/previous forklift certification
• Proficient use of the hand-held RF unit in moving material in Oracle R12 to reflect accurate inventory
• Able to navigate Oracle program.
