What You’ll Do

• Observe and comply with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements.
• Participate in needs analysis, training, and educational programs.
• Support continuous improvement activities and participate in auditing activities.
• Stop work on processes as needed and contain suspect or defective materials.
• Operate trucks and lifting devices to move materials safely within the facility.
• Unload, stack, and move materials efficiently within the plant.
• Inventory materials and supply workers as needed.
• Record weights and other relevant data accurately.
• Perform loading and unloading of materials onto pallets or trucks.
• Recharge batteries or replace gas tanks as necessary.
• Drive outdoors as part of the role.

When and Where

Openings on 1st Shift (Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:00pm) at our Walker, MI facility.

What You Need To Have

• High School diploma or GED.
• One month of related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Previous material handling and Hilo driving experience preferred.
• High standards of performance, responsibility, and integrity.
• Ability to work with a sense of urgency, support plant flow, and adapt to change positively.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work up to 12 hours per day, including weekends.
• Basic computer skills and safe driving ability.
