D&W Fine Pack, a Mid Oaks Investments portfolio company, provides a wide range of products serving the food service and food packaging industry.

We have an immediate opportunity for a Material Handler 1, 3rd Shift. In this role, you will move materials throughout the plant and warehouse manually or by operating electric-powered lifts.

Responsibilities

• Follow plant safety procedures and guidelines.
• Know emergency procedures and what to do in case of power outages, machine failures, workplace injuries, etc.
• Wear and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Understand and implement Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
• Report safety issues and workplace injuries immediately to your supervisor.
• Participate in safety improvement activities, including hazard identification and safety teams.
• Move stock and materials to and from storage and production areas by hand or with equipment.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material needs.
• Build pallets manually as per MO standards.
• Label containers with identifying information.
• Secure materials for transport using stretch-wrapper machines.
• Assist other workers with specific tasks as needed.
• Follow GMPs and support Food Safety initiatives through required training and practices.

Starting Pay: $20.00-$24.00/hr based on experience

Shift Differential: $1.25/hr for 2nd & 3rd shifts

Sign-On Bonus: $750

Referral Bonus: $1,000
