1st SHIFT - MATERIAL HANDLER (OMAHA PRODUCTION)

Join to apply for the 1st SHIFT - MATERIAL HANDLER (OMAHA PRODUCTION) role at Phillips Manufacturing Co.

We are a well-established, Omaha-based manufacturer with over 65 years of providing quality products. Phillips Manufacturing is a one-stop shop for drywall finishing accessories, lath, stucco accessories, metal channels, interior framing, and fire-rated assemblies with facilities around the country.

Position Details:

  • Shift: 4 days/10 hours, Monday-Thursday, 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • Hiring Bonus: $1500
  • Mandatory Overtime

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing tasks related to shipping/receiving, warehousing, inventory management, and order assembly
  • Operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely
  • Inspecting finished goods for quality and proper labeling
  • Maintaining a clean and orderly work environment

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of shipping, warehouse, and inventory management experience
  • Forklift driving experience (stand-up and/or sit-down)
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 60 lbs
  • Ability to work in manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, fumes
