Arxada is looking for a Materials Handler located in our Conley, GA. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned areas.

Key responsibilities:

1. Acquire a working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and ISO requirements. Responsible for maintaining cGMP standards in daily tasks and operations. Maintain data integrity at all times.
2. Ensure process areas meet housekeeping standards to prevent hazards.
3. Handle hazardous chemicals and waste during normal operations.
4. Strive to improve process knowledge, obtain new certifications, and maintain existing ones.
5. Inform supervision promptly of conditions that may affect safety, quality, capacity, or cause equipment hazards.
6. Share ideas proactively or take actions to improve the site and processes.
7. Work cooperatively as part of own and cross-functional teams.
8. Take personal accountability for outcomes resulting from your choices, behaviors, or actions.
9. Work overtime as needed.
10. Plan and respond to emergencies involving hazardous waste.
11. Manage hazardous waste in areas at risk of accumulation.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Key requirements:

1. High school diploma or GED required.
2. Preferred: Prior experience in an industrial operations environment or naval engineering.
3. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for effective manufacturing and distribution.
