Flexible Concepts, Inc. in Elkhart, IN is seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Material Handler to keep production moving by transporting materials safely within the facility.

This full-time role requires operation of sit-down and stand-up forklifts, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining clean inventory records in varied weather conditions both indoors and outdoors.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a forklift operator in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to forklift operation.
• Ability to operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

As a Material Handler, you'll play a critical role in keeping production moving by safely transporting materials throughout our facility. This position includes both indoor and outdoor work, so you'll need to be comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions.

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing trucks.
• Move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods throughout the facility.
• Maintain organized inventory and storage areas.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance concerns.
• Work closely with Production, Shipping, and Warehouse teams to support production schedules.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate material movement and inventory records.

Work Environment

This is a full-time hourly position in a manufacturing environment. The role requires operating forklifts throughout the facility and outdoors, standing and walking for extended periods, and working around machinery, moving equipment, and varying weather conditions.
