Toyota Heavy Duty in East Chicago, IN is seeking a Material Handler to coordinate and expedite the flow of materials between departments. This in-person role requires teamwork and reliability, with a 6:30 am to 3:00 pm schedule.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in material handling, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to work overtime. The position offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

The Role:

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Material Handler who brings enthusiasm, energy, and expertise to the table. In this role, you’ll c oordinate and expedite the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between sections or departments while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. What You’ll Be Doing:

• Investigates and resolves problems with the delivery of missing parts.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages
• Monitor production schedules, assign materials, and boost productivity by preventing delays that can affect delivery
• Relaying information such as estimated delivery dates or other messages to and from the technicians and managers as needed
• Assists in preparing & delivering material to end users

What We’re Looking For:
