Toyota Heavy Duty in East Chicago, IN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our hands-on team. This in-person role focuses on maintaining and repairing plant equipment, with emphasis on electrical and mechanical systems.

You’ll perform inspections, preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and collaborate with contractors. The position includes wiring and controls work, stocking parts, installing new equipment, and keeping logs in a safety‑driven environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2–5 years of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, hydraulic, and compressor systems.
• Knowledge of pumps, motors, motor controls, instrumentation, metal fabrication, and other maintenance functions.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background checks and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on the facility and equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues, diagnose, and plan repairs on equipment.
• Collaborate with contractors for on-site projects.
• Order, receive/collect, and stock parts and other maintenance materials.

We’re seeking a passionate and dedicated Maintenance Tech who brings enthusiasm, energy, and expertise to the table. • Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm with occasional overtime and alternating on‑call weekends

Compensation: Starting at $28/hour for a Level 1 Technician. Higher rates are available based on experience.
