Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc is seeking a Material Handler to support safe and efficient movement of materials across the manufacturing facility in the United States. You will operate forklifts and other equipment to locate, stack, and move materials, ensuring continuous production flow.

You will load/unload trucks, perform cycle counts, maintain inventory records, stage materials for production, and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–2 years in manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Valid forklift certification with demonstrated safe operating history.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs. and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other material handling equipment to move, locate, stack and count materials.
• Load and unload trucks, inspect deliveries for accuracy and damage, and complete necessary documentation.
• Transport raw materials, components, and finished goods between storage, production, and shipping areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle count as needed.
• Stage material for production according to work orders and schedules.
• Follow safety protocols and company procedures to ensure a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to support workflow and minimize downtime.
• Perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance (e.g., forklift pre-checks).
• Assist in packaging, labeling and palletizing finished products as required.

This role ensures continuous production flow by maintaining adequate supply levels at supporting shipping and receiving activities.
