Seneca Tank is seeking a warehouse associate to support shipping/receiving, cycle counting and parts distribution within the facility. The role involves operating a forklift, pallet jack and basic ERP software, and requires strong English skills and mechanical aptitude.

You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and may perform additional duties as needed to support a safe and efficient operation.

Summary

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the incumbent assists each area of the warehouse on an as-need basis, shipping and receiving freight and distributing parts within the warehouse and to various departments. The job holder also operates straight trucks.

Physical Demands

Visual requirements include ability to see detail at near range with or without correction

Must be physically able to perform heavy work: exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, 60 pounds of force frequently, and 40 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Must be able to perform the following physical activities: stooping, kneeling, reaching, handling, grasping, feeling, talking, climbing, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, hearing, and repetitive motions

Equipment & Software

Equipment: Computer, hand, power, and measuring tools, pallet jack, forklift, digital camera, company vehicle, handheld scanning device.

Software: Internet browser, email, calendar service (MS Outlook), spreadsheet, intranet project scheduling (Portal 2), and enterprise resource planning (ERP) applications
