Job summary

Peoplelink, LLC is seeking a Material Handler to support a Missouri-based food production site. You will help ensure products meet safety and quality standards, operate and maintain production equipment, and follow Lockout/Tagout procedures.

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
  • Must be dependable with good attendance.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends, overtime, and holidays.
  • Forklift, skid steer, pay loader, or similar equipment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure products are produced according to food safety and quality standards.
  • Report food safety, quality, or equipment concerns to the supervisor immediately.
  • Inspect equipment before and during operation and report any issues.
  • Assemble, disassemble, clean, and maintain production equipment.
  • Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures when cleaning or servicing equipment.
  • Verify product labels and lot codes are accurate.
  • Follow production schedules and supervisor instructions.
  • Load and unload soybeans, meal, oil, chemicals, and other products.
  • Read scales, collect samples, and accurately weigh materials.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and basic troubleshooting.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Support outdoor work and seasonal facility maintenance as needed.
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.

Job description

Material Handler
Pay:
$18.39 - $20.81 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Rotating 12-hour shifts


  • 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (4 days on, 4 days off)
  • 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (4 nights on, 4 days off)

Job Responsibilities


  • Ensure products are produced according to food safety and quality standards.
