Job summary

Weekend Shift Material Handler in Lithia Springs, GA is responsible for operating powered equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count product. You will check inbound and outbound items for damage, verify product codes and dates to meet customer requirements.

Hours are Friday–Sunday, 5:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Compensation is $18.75 per hour plus a $2.00 shift premium, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) match, tuition reimbursement, and training

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in order fulfillment as a picker and packer, cross‑trained across multiple departments.
• Experience preparing product for safe shipment and verifying accuracy using computer, shipping label, and/or packing list.
• Experience with Manhattan software.
• Ability to stand up to 90% of the shift and safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• At least 6 months of experience using RF scan gun.

Responsibilities

• Physically load product onto equipment, pallets or totes more than 20% of the shift.
• Put away and pick product for shipment or stock, ensuring accuracy.
• Compare quantity, quality, labeling, and address with the customer’s order to ensure outgoing shipments are complete and correct.
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary.
• Verify and report discrepancies such as non-available products and OS&D.
• Maintain the facility and equipment in a neat, clean, orderly fashion; inspect all operated equipment daily.
• Complete daily inspection of equipment.
• Assist in physical inventories.

Position: Weekend Shift Material Handler

Shift: Friday–Sunday, 5:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.

Role Purpose

Responsible for operating powered equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting product. Check all inbound and outbound products to ensure they are free of damage and infestation; verify product code dates and ensure products match customer requirements.

• Six months of warehouse experience (preferred).
• Six months of forklift operation experience (preferred).
