ASC Engineered Solutions is seeking a Material Handler in Dallas, TX to support production through accurate replenishment and timely delivery of parts and supplies. The role involves picking orders, operating scanners, and using forklifts to move materials to work centers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 6+ months warehouse experience required.
• Ability to operate forklift and other lifting equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for production and deliver to the appropriate department.
• Operate handheld scanner to scan barcodes and deliver materials to the production floor.
• Review pick list and select appropriate material for work centers.
• Operate forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks and other loading/stacking equipment.
• Perform daily forklift inspections and on-spot checks.
• Conduct daily cycle counts and report results.
• Put away incoming material to stocking locations.
• Maintain warehouse storage and cleanliness of aisles.
• Promote safety by following PPE rules and reporting hazards.
• Perform other duties as directed.

Department: Distribution Center Operations
Location: Dallas, TX
Description
The Material Handler performs production replenishments of parts and supplies accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for picking orders for production and delivering those orders to the appropriate department in a timely manner
• Operates a handheld scanner to scan barcodes and accurately delivers materials to the production floor
• Reviews pick list and picks appropriate material for specific work centers
• Operates forklift, lift truck, side loaders, pallet trucks, picker and other loading/stacking equipment
• Responsible for daily inspection of forklifts and performs on-spot checking
• Performs daily cycle count checks and accurately report results
• Responsible for putting away incoming material to appropriate stocking locations
• Maintains and organizes warehouse storage including pallet consolidation and cleanliness of aisles
• Promote a safe workplace by performing all tasks in a safe and thoughtful manner in compliance with all rules, procedures, instructions, devices, equipment and use of appropriate personal protective equipment. Maintain vigilance for any hazardous conditions or practices in the workplace and immediately report any unsafe condition or practice to your supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• 6+ months of warehouse experience
