ABOUT THE ROLE

Join our Corsicana, TX plant team as a Forklift Driver - Warehouse/Shipping, where you will directly support our shipping department by safely operating machinery, picking units, and loading/unloading flatbeds and trailers. Reporting to the Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, this role is essential for maintaining strict 5S standards, safeguarding product quality, and ensuring smooth, efficient daily operations. We are looking for a reliable team player with strong attendance, solid forklift experience, and a steadfast commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

• Proactively participate in the Line Driven Safety Process (LDSR) to help improve plant safety
• Daily forklift safety inspection.
• Operate the floor Sweeper / Scrubber as needed for floor cleaning
• Unload materials from flatbeds, trailers, or trucks using a forklift or hand jack
• Receive and prepare items or materials for storage.
• Pick ISO units from the warehouse by referring to a pick list or supervisor instruction.
• Use forklift to load product or other materials onto flat bed trucks or into trailers.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area at all times using the 5S process.
• Follow standard operating procedures for Forklift Operator.
• Safeguard Quality of packages to Warehouse.
• Perform other duties requested by the Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Supervisor or Manager
• Act as an environmental steward to help ensure the plant's environmental conformance
• Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

• A record of safe performance and quality job workmanship in your current role
• Must be flexible on shift assignment and able to work any overtime as needed.
• Able to perform as a Material Handler or Line Driver as needed.
• Able to operate forklift for extensive period of time over the course of the shift.
• Able to read English and perform general math functions.
• Must be willing to act as a "Team Player" and proactively assist others as needed.

Additional Requirements:

• Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
