Job summary

Jaquith Industries, Inc. is seeking motivated material handlers to move parts across the manufacturing floor using forklifts, pallet jacks, and measuring tools. You will read drawings, verify quantities, label products, and help maintain a neat, safe work area.

Shifts: Mon-Fri 6am-2:30pm or Mon-Thu 1pm-11:30pm. The team values reliability, teamwork, and continuous improvement and offers a strong benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 3 years of work experience.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Safety training and compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Keep a well-maintained area and track parts inventory.
• Collaborate with internal departments to locate missing parts, fix incorrect orders and replace damaged products.
• Read and interpret measuring devices.
• Verify quantity and quality of laser and plasma cut parts.
• Label products and place them by location.
• Perform daily lift truck inspections.
• Maintain safety rules and report unsafe acts or practices.
• Move work using hand truck, lift truck, or overhead crane.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Description

Material handlers process orders by using technical drawings and other required communication. They pull and move parts throughout the manufacturing facility. Using either manual labor or other equipment such as trucks or forklifts.

MONDAY-FRIDAY 6am-2:30pm or MONDAY-THURSDAY 1pm-11:30pm Shifts Available

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Keeping a well‑maintained area and updated account of parts.
• Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing parts, fix incorrect orders and replace damaged products.
• Read and interpret measuring devices.
• Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of Laser & Plasma cut parts.
• Labeling every product and placing them according to locations.
• Perform daily Lift truck inspections.
• Keep Supervisor informed of any problems.
• Adhere to established safety rules and policies.
• Notify supervisor or safety director of any unsafe act or practice stopped.
• Keep work area neat and orderly on a daily basis.
• Follow quality control standards to ensure meeting quality and quantity requirements.
• To maintain continuous movement of work, use hand truck, lift truck, or overhead crane to move work to and from designated storage, staging areas or workstation.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or 3 years work experience.
• Practice good oral and written communication skills.
• Participate in training events (ie; Lockout/Tagout; HazCom; and bloodborne pathogen)
• Treat all co‑workers with dignity and respect.
• Practice solid attention to detail and problem‑solving
• Possess basic math skills.

EQUIPMENT LISTING (MACHINES, TOOLS & SOFTWARE):

Will also be expected to use computer to enter information and review reports. Must have experience with, or be able to learn to use warehouse machinery including forklift, pallet jack, and measuring tools.
