Job summary

New Leader Manufacturing seeks a Material Handler I to perform general labor tasks and move materials to support production and shipping schedules. The role involves pulling and staging parts, verifying inventory counts, and ensuring accurate locations with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has 1+ years of material handling or inventory control experience, forklift experience with license preferred, and basic math and computer skills (Word/Excel).

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related material handling or inventory control experience.
• Forklift experience required; license preferred.
• Ability to read tape measure up to 1/32”.
• Ability to interpret dial caliper measurements and hand tools as needed.
• Intermediate computer skills; look up information, clock-in/clock-out, report activities; Word/Excel required; Outlook preferred.
• Good math skills; perform arithmetic in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Pull and stage parts/equipment to support production/shipping schedules.
• Verify inventory counts and locations; maintain accurate identification and locations.
• Move materials safely following production/shipping schedules and work center productivity.
• Report inconsistencies or problems to supervisor; follow safety procedures.
