Job summary

Wastequip Manufacturing Company LLC is seeking a Material Handler to support our New Lebanon, NY manufacturing operation. Use a forklift to move raw materials, parts and finished goods throughout the plant and provide support across departments.

Pay range $18.91–$22.85 per hour. Responsibilities include receiving and stocking incoming materials, supplying production with materials and parts, transferring finished goods to holding areas, and maintaining a safe, organized workplace in accordance

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience operating a forklift in a production environment.
• Forklift certification may be required.
• Attention to detail and care.
• Maintain materials and products on racks, floor, and staging areas.
• Follow instructions under limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify and stock incoming raw materials.
• Supply production with materials and parts as required to meet production demands.
• Transfer finished goods to holding and/or loading areas.
• Perform safety inspections and simple routine maintenance to ensure tools remain safe and fully operational.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear required PPE at all times.
• Ensure that workplace is maintained in compliance with 5S standards.
