Job summary

GreenSource Fabrication, a Whelen Engineering Company, is seeking a motivated Material Handler/Logistics Associate in Charlestown, NH. You will operate forklifts, manage inventory, and support shipping and receiving to ensure materials and finished products move smoothly and safely across the facility.

Responsibilities include receiving, unloading, inspecting materials, and performing ERP transactions, plus transferring materials to storage or production areas and preparing shipments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or regulated production helpful.
• Experience with chemical handling and forklift operation preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders, shipment docs, SDS/TDS.
• Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

• Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or nonconforming materials.

Job Description:

Looking for a stable, hands-on career where your work makes a difference every day? We are seeking a motivated Material Handler/Logistics Associate to join the team at GreenSource Fabrication, a Whelen Engineering Company, to help keep their operation running smoothly in the Charlestown, NH area.
From operating forklifts and managing inventory to supporting shipping and receiving activities, you’ll play a key role in ensuring materials and finished products move safely and efficiently throughout our facility.
Shift: 1st shift M-F 7am - 3:30pm.

Location:

Charlestown, New Hampshire

Responsibilities:

• Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) to move materials safely and efficiently.
• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials and chemicals, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Identify, document, and report discrepancies, damages, or nonconforming materials to the Team Lead or Supervisor.
• Perform receiving, shipping, and inventory transactions with the ERP system.
• Transfer and deliver materials and chemicals to designated storage areas, production lines, or day tanks following established handling procedures.
• Prepare finished products for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and completing all required shipping documentation.

Desired Background/Skills:

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Vocational training preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or a regulated production environment preferred.
• Experience with chemical handling preferred.
• Experience with forklift operation preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend written instructions (work orders, purchase orders, shipment documentation etc.)
• Ability to interpret SDS’s and TDS’s.
• Motivated, results oriented, customer focused, with a high commitment to quality.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and familiarity with ERP software.
• Working knowledge of safe material handling and inventory control practices.
• Ability to learn new technology and effective problem-solving skills.
