Construction Resources in Charleston, SC is seeking a diligent Material Handler to support warehouse and distribution operations. You will move, load, and unload tile and stone products, inspect materials for damage, and keep accurate inventory records to ensure smooth workflow.

This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and proactive communication with suppliers and carriers to coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, cycle counts, and space optimization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as a material handler in a warehouse environment preferred, especially in tile/stone.
• Experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols.

The Material Handler is responsible for handling, moving, and organizing tile and stone materials, ensuring accurate inventory management, and contributing to a well-organized and safe work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification and experience operating other warehouse equipment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Proven experience handling experience in a precise and meticulous manner.
