Job summary

Construction Resources, Ltd. is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler in Charleston, SC to efficiently move and manage tile and stone inventory.

You will operate forklifts, perform cycle counts, and coordinate with the inventory control team to ensure accuracy and smooth workflow. Responsibilities include loading/unloading trucks, inspecting materials for quality, and maintaining clean, organized storage spaces while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as a material handler in a warehouse environment, preferably in the tile and stone industry.
• Experience loading and unloading trucks.
• Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently move, load, and unload tile and stone products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other designated equipment.
• Inspect materials for damage and ensure they meet quality standards before handling or shipment.

• Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in periodic physical inventories.
• Work closely with the inventory control team to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and performing tasks.
• Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly to the supervisor.
• Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and address any issues that may arise.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and carriers regarding inbound and outbound shipments.
