Job summary

Professional Placement Services is seeking a Material Handler for 1st shift in northeast Ohio to support our partner teams that manufacture precision components and assemblies. The role involves handling shipments, logging inventory, moving material between processes, and prepping products for shipment.

We offer advancement opportunities, with 7:00 am to 3:30 pm hours, overtime as needed, and benefits including medical coverage, paid vacation, holidays, and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• Tow motor operation experience is required.
• Strong written, analytical, and computer skills are required.
• Use of Raymond equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• 2+ years’ experience in shipping or manufacturing is helpful; we are willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare incoming and outgoing shipments to vendors and customers.
• Prepare product for shipment.
• Auditing and document shipments for accuracy.
• Accurately logging and placing product into inventory.
• Move material from one process to another.
• Unload raw material trucks.
• Load and unload freight trucks, UPS shipments, and other various shipping related tasks.

Requirements
