Celina Tent, Inc. in Celina, OH is hiring a Material Handler for our Distribution Center. 1st shift, 8 AM–4:30 PM, Monday–Friday with overtime as required. Starting pay is $22.50/hour.

You will perform picking/packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory accuracy tasks to keep orders moving safely and efficiently. Forklift operation certification is included, with safety as a core focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Able to operate forklifts or willing to become certified.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 30+ feet.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to regularly lift 50+ lbs. and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
• Positive attitude and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, and releasing customer orders using handheld scanners.
• Loading and unloading trucks, containers, and freight shipments.
• Operating forklifts, stock pickers, and warehouse equipment.
• Organizing and storing inventory accurately.

JOIN OUR TEAM - Material Handler

Since 1996, Celina Tent, Inc. (CELINA) has grown from a family-owned tent company into a national manufacturer serving commercial event professionals, industrial operations, and the U.S. defense community. We are currently hiring a Material Handler to join our Distribution Center team in Celina.

Location: Celina, OH

Hours: 1st shift; Monday – Friday: 8 AM – 4:30 PM

Overtime as required

Starting Pay: $22.50/hour

What You Will Do

As a Material Handler, you will help keep materials, inventory, and customer orders moving safely and efficiently throughout the Distribution Center. This role is responsible for picking/packing, shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and order fulfillment operations.

• Picking, packing, and releasing customer orders using handheld scanners
• Loading and unloading trucks, containers, and freight shipments
• Operating forklifts, stock pickers, and warehouse equipment
• Organizing and storing inventory accurately
• Assisting with inventory counts and cycle counts
• Preparing shipments and documenting incoming/outgoing freight
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Working independently and as part of a team to meet daily goals

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Operation of various fork trucks, stock pickers, etc. Must be able to obtain certification and operate equipment safely
• Company Drivers - Drivers’ license with a good driving record
• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
