Exploreelginarea is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Carpentersville, IL to receive, store, track, and distribute materials while keeping precise inventory records. The role supports production and shipping by ensuring materials are counted, inspected, and moved safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include counting and inspecting inbound/outbound materials, following FIFO, assembling orders, shipping/receiving duties, and data entry for inventory systems.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory control experience preferred.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Experience with Sit-down and Stand-up Forklift.
• Ability to accurately count, weigh, inspect, and track materials.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to inventory accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a safe, organized workspace.

Responsibilities

• Count, weigh, inspect, and verify inbound and outbound materials, reporting shortages, damages, or discrepancies.
• Follow FIFO inventory procedures and assemble orders for production and shipment according to work orders.
• Perform shipping and receiving functions while maintaining inventory accuracy for raw materials, finished goods, consignment inventory, and corrugated materials.
• Deliver, tag, and stock materials at designated workstations while maintaining accurate identification, weights, and piece counts.
• Enter inventory data into computer systems, conduct inventory audits, and maintain clean, organized warehouse aisles and work areas.
