We are hiring a Material Handler to support all tasks related to material production, including packaging, handling, transportation, and machine operation as assigned by the foreman. This role is based in Carol Stream, IL and is fully on-site.

Pay Range: $22.08/hr.

Shift Differential: $0.40/hr.

Schedule: 2nd Shift

Final pay will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Core Accountabilities (Material Handler - General):

• Perform all tasks safely, identifying hazards in the production environment.
• Adhere to all Job Safety Analyses (JSAs).
• Uphold management standards.
• Complete machine-specific or situational duties as assigned.

Core Accountabilities (Material Handler - Forklift):

• Operate Stand Up (4K capacity) and Sit Down (8K+ capacity) forklifts safely.
• Unload trucks with incoming material.
• Put away inventory and restocked materials correctly.
• Deliver stock to machines and respond to machine lights promptly.

Core Accountabilities (Material Handler - Machine):

• Package material per customer specifications and QA alerts.
• Assist machine operators as needed.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating forklifts.
• Competency in using banders.
• Ability to read customer specifications and notices.
• Commitment to safety and company policies.
