Job summary

Aerometals, Inc. is seeking a reliable Material Handler to support manufacturing operations in El Dorado Hills, California. You will receive, move, and track material, using forklifts and hand trucks, and ensure accurate inventory records and traceability.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and basic ERP and MS Office skills; on-the-job training is provided. This is a full-time on-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year in receiving.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform real time systematic transactions for receiving material and moving material.
• Process material requisitions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
• Safely move material from one location to the next utilizing material handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks or other equipment available.
• Perform physical inventory counts and report results accurately.
• Identify product by tagging or other methods to ensure traceability.
• Ensure products in stores and inventory are adequately protected against damage and deterioration.
• Maintain stores and inventory area organized and productive.
• Manage production manufacturing problems with travelers.
• Communicate concisely and effectively.
• Perform other duties as required by the organization.

Material Handler

Pay range: $22 - $26 hourly

Schedule: Monday - Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:00am - 12:00pm

The ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate the ability to:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other ERP systems.
• Ability to use and perform multiple data entry functions daily.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
