Job summary

Aebi Schmidt Group is recruiting for a Regular Employee to operate in material handling roles in Indiana. You will maintain forklift licenses, manage inventory accuracy, and plan materials to support on-time production with minimal supervision.

The role requires a HS diploma or GED, familiarity with POU handling, and strong communication. OT availability and a focus on 5S and safety are expected aspects of this position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain forklift license and daily maintenance log.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via stock transfers and cycle counts.
• Plan and order materials per operations schedule.
• Ensure timely supply of materials to avoid downtime.
• Identify damaged materials and follow scrap process.
• Transport materials using pallets, forklift, or carts.
• Support operators and contribute to 5S and safety.
• Prepare required reports and administrative tasks.

Job description

Regular Employee | Hourly Non-Exempt | $20.00 - 20.00

What you’ll do:

• Maintainvalid forklift/stand-up license- including completion of daily fork truckmaintenance log and proper maintenance of equipment
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP and bar code scanners systems (If applicable)
• Responsible for maintaining inventory record accuracy through accurate stocktransfers and cycle counts
• Plans and orders materials as required by operations schedule
• Ensure production/line-side POU (Point of Use) materials are supplied in atimely manner to ensure zero production downtime
• Identifiesdamaged materials and follows the non-conforming materials scrap process
• Places materials to and from a variety of box/skid/containers/racking locationwhile maintaining accurately placed parts according to material home locationspreviously created
• Transports materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehiclesto accomplish task including but not limited to pallet jack, forklift, stand-upand/or pack mule
• Identifies and communicates shortage parts
• Assists operators as needed by lifting heavy objects
• Participates in quality improvement efforts
• Ensuringdepartments alignment to all corporate initiatives using the 5S methodology
• Assists in maintaining safety standards in all areas of responsibility
• Performs required administrative tasks; prepares all required reports andcommunication.
• Willingness to work OT on short notice
• Preparation and participation in physical inventory
