Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Material Handler for Bolingbrook, IL. The role focuses on receiving, moving, staging, loading, unloading, organizing, and transporting materials throughout the warehouse to support production and shipping.

You will help ensure inventory accuracy and timely movement of goods in a fast-paced environment. The position offers 1st and 2nd shift options with overtime required, a safety-focused workplace, and opportunities for advancement within staff operations.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials.
• Reads production schedule, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence, such as: size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places on pallets or shelves, or conveys order to packing station or shipping department.

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM ($17.00/hr)
• 1st Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM ($17.00/hr)
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:00 PM-2:30 AM ($19.00/hr)

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
• Ability to complete duties with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
• Ability to use hands, sit, reach, stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch, talk or hear
• Regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Ability to be exposed to non-climate-controlled environments

As a Material Handler you will receive, move, stage, load, unload, organize, and transport materials throughout warehouse or manufacturing operations.
