Qualified Staffing is hiring a full-time Manufacturing Material Handler Associate for the Atlanta, Ga area. This role supports production by ensuring timely material flow, adherence to standards, and proper documentation, housekeeping, and inventory control.
Pay: $18/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm with possible over time on Saturday
Key Responsibilities
- Transport materials, components, and products to and from production suites during manufacturing operations.
- Verify materials are released for use and properly labeled before transferring to production areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of hallways, equipment, and storage areas; assist in cleaning and sanitization activities.
- Follow Good Documentation Practices and complete all records accurately and promptly.
- Stage and rotate components according to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles to ensure efficient workflow.
- Ensure that finished products and unused materials are correctly labeled, stored, or returned to the appropriate areas.
- Support 100% accountability of components, products, and labeling materials.
- Adhere to cGMP, Standard Operating Procedures and all safety and compliance requirements.
- Assist team leaders and manufacturing management with additional duties as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience in handling raw material.
- Good math, counting skills; strong attention to detail and weighing product.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Prior forklift experience or certification required
- Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts or overtime as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and move materials; occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Standing, walking, and repetitive motion required.
- Must be able to gown for cleanroom work and wear a respirator if necessary.
