Job summary

Reading Truck is seeking a Material Handler in Arlington, TX to prepare and process parts, stock production areas, and keep the yard organized for fast order fulfillment.

The role requires prior Material Handler or forklift experience, preferably with a manufacturing background. You will work in shipping/receiving, stock and move parts, load/unload trailers, and support the delivery process locally.

• Maintain parts and materials needed to support the line and stock supplies

• Taping, and sanding on material for paint prep

• Assist with completed vehicle deliveries to customers locally (if applicable)

How You Will Make an Impact

A Material Handler at Reading Truck will prepare and process parts through the organization. Material Handlers make sure production areas are fully stocked and have the products prepared and available in order to organize the yard, and fill orders quickly.

The Nuts and Bolts

• Work within shipping, receiving
• Stocking and/or delivering parts, supplies, products
• Loading/unloading trailers, storing parts in proper locations
• Pulling stock from inventory
• Maintain parts and materials needed to support the line and stock supplies
• Driving and/or staging trucks
• Taping, and sanding on material for paint prep
• Porting vehicles to different locations
• Assist with completed vehicle deliveries to customers locally (if applicable)

Required Credentials

• Prior experience as a Material Handler, Forklift driver
• Manufacturing industry or background experience preferred
