Job summary

Reading Truck Group is seeking a Load Assembler and Inspector for 1st shift in Reading, PA. The role involves assembling and inspecting shipments, ensuring loads meet specifications, and performing final quality checks on equipment.

You will work in shipping and receiving, prepare braces and supports, label cargo, and verify counts against orders, with a focus on safety and accuracy. This position offers growth within a distribution environment and benefits.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pallet jacks, forklifts and dollies is a plus though not a requirement.

How You Will Make an Impact

Load Assemblers check shipment against orders and assures the shipment is supported to load specifications; also responsible for final inspection of quality.

The Nuts and Bolts

• Working within shipping and receiving
• Crafts braces and supports for shipment to load specifications and requirements
• Assembles orders for shipment
• Count, weigh and check shipment against shipping order and report shortages

Required Credentials
