Job summary

Reading Truck in Reading, PA is seeking a Load Assembler and Inspector for the 1st shift. You will check shipments against orders and ensure they meet load specifications, assemble orders for shipment, and assist with labeling and securing cargo.

This role includes final quality inspection of equipment, counting and reporting shortages, and supporting shipping/receiving processes. Attention to detail, safety, and teamwork are essential.

How You Will Make an Impact

Load Assemblers check shipment against orders and assures the shipment is supported to load specifications; also responsible for final inspection of quality.

The Nuts and Bolts

• Working within shipping and receiving
• Crafts braces and supports for shipment to load specifications and requirements
• Assembles orders for shipment
• Count, weigh and check shipment against shipping order and report shortages
• Label and secure truck bodies
• Final inspection for quality and appearance of equipment

Required Credentials

• Knowledge of pallet jacks, forklifts and dollies is a plus though not a requirement
